Cosmetic Dentistry: Teeth Whitening
This simple yet effective and affordable procedure uses carbamide peroxide or hydrogen peroxide to lighten dark or stained teeth. Teeth can be whitened by professionally supervised at-home treatments or through an accelerated process in our office.
The at-home technique is simple and popular. After an examination to make sure that the teeth and gums are healthy, an impression is taken of the teeth to be treated. The same day, a tray is custom made and delivered to hold the bleaching solution against the teeth. This at home procedure is used 2 - 3 hours per day for about two weeks.
The level of change will depend on several factors, but most people achieve their desired tooth shade during this period. We suggest periodic touch-ups at 6 month intervals. At that time, you will use the same models and bleaching solution originally received, but for one day only.
At the fee of $99.00 per arch (upper or lower), this is an inexpensive way to dramatically change your smile. Call our office for more information.
